La Francia è la mia terra natìa, il Mali rappresenta la mia famiglia nonché lo scrigno dei miei affetti più cari. Questo è in sintesi il pensiero di Mohamed Sissoko alla domanda come da Africano vive l’Africa e quali siano i valori che lo legano alla culla dell’umanità. In una gelida mattina di inizio febbraio, nonostante il sole splenda alto nel cielo di Vinovo, nella provincia di Torino, insieme ad alcuni colleghi dello University College of Turin e della redazione di Finis Terrae, veniamo accolti presso il Media center della Juventus Football Club, dal calciatore maliano, perno del centrocampo bianconero, Mohamed Sissoko. Dall’alto dei suoi 187 cm, Mohamed ci abbraccia e ci sorride. Senza esitazioni diamo inizio ad una serena conversazione sul rapporto che intercorre tra il continente africano, i popoli e le etnie che lo abitano e le numerose culture che lo circondano.
Abbiamo chiesto di incontrare Mohamed quali promotori di un progetto ambizioso. Con l’aiuto delle più rinomate NGOs internazionali, l’obiettivo di Finis Terrae è infatti quello di esportare la nostra cultura sportiva e musicale in Africa, lungi da ogni forma di colonialismo intellettuale, ma semplicemente guidati dall’impulso di trasmettere ai popoli africani quegli strumenti necessari affinché anche essi abbiano l’opportunità di praticare ogni genere di sport e allo stesso modo di suonare musica, quali manifestazione della più ampia libertà di esprimere la propria personalità. Il nostro progetto trova subito il plauso gratificante di Mohamed che non esita ad offrirci tutta la sua disponibilità alla sostenibilità del progetto.

 Cari amici, dopo il terribile terremoto di Haiti, la Comunità di Sant’Egidio si è immediatamente mobilitata per portare aiuti di emergenza. Una prima delegazione è arrivata a tre giorni dal sisma, portando acqua potabile, cibo, generi di prima necessità, che sono stati immediatamente distribuiti, insieme alla Comunità di Sant’Egidio haitiana, nei quartieri dove da tempo la Comunità aiutava i bambini con la Scuola della Pace.  Una seconda delegazione, da lunedì 25 gennaio, ha iniziato a distribuire ancora aiuti di emergenza e soprattutto tende, tanto necessarie in un momento di forti piogge.La presenza dei giovani haitiani della Comunità e il sostegno dei vescovi assicurano una distribuzione capillare ed efficace. A 7 km dal centro c’è la scuola Lakay Mwen - frequentata da circa 1500 bambini e ragazzi - che la Comunità sostiene da anni con le adozioni a distanza. Nello stesso complesso sorgevano anche delle casette che ospitavano qualche decina  di anziani. L’edificio è gravemente lesionato: oggi bambini e anziani sono rifugiati sotto un tendone e hanno bisogno di tutto.Vogliamo restare vicini a chi è stato colpito dal terremoto. Oggi, con gli aiuti di emergenza, che proseguiranno per i prossimi due mesi. Poi, appena possibile, con la costruzione di una casa famiglia per i bambini orfani, rimasti senza nulla. James Cameron's science-fiction epic "Avatar” has been popular and getting many attentions among many countries and people in the world. Not only its successful and powerful visual arts (3-Dimentional imaging techniques) which this well-known director made with his technique team and resources contribute to the movie for getting popular, but also its main story line and episode which have very similarity with the history of Africa and Africans draw us to the unavoidable questions over our movie night.
In the movie “Avatar”, human has been discovered new planets in universe under their purposes to survive and find other resources for their own society, culture and markets. ‘Pandora’ is the planet in which, for human, there is undoubtedly precious natural resource, called ‘the Un-optainium’, underneath of the’ Nabi’s habitations. Human from earth has started the “peaceful invasion” to this land of harmony and begun showing their never-end greed into the natural resources in exchange of the sacrifice of the precious environments of the Pandora and Navis’.

Kiswahili: Kwa muda mrefu sasa nchi yetu imekuwa ikikabiliwa na wimbi la mauaji ya wapendwa wetu na ndugu zetu Albino. Pamoja na vitendo vivyo kulaaniwa sana na wanajamii wengi wa Tanzania na hatua mbalimbali ambazo serikali imejaribu kuzichukua kupinga vitendo hivi, lakini bado wimbi la mauaji limezidi kuenea na kukua siku baada ya siku. Pia tatizo hili la mauaji ya albino limepelekea, maalbino kutokuwa na amani ndani ya nchi yao kwa sababu maisha yao yapo hatarini kila siku kimwili au kisaikolojia.
English: It is a long time now since our country have been distressed with this problem of killings of our beloved Albinos. Although these actions or killings have been highly condemned almost by the whole community of Tanzania and various steps have been taken by the government against these practices still the problem is spreading and growing day after day. This problem of albino killings led Albinos in Tanzania not to have peace within their country because their life always are endangered either physically or psychologically.
Kiswahili: Tanzania imekuwa ikiendelea kutafuta ufumbuzi wa tatizo la mauaji ya albino, ambalo limesababisha mauaji ya watu wasiopungua 45 kwa kipindi cha miaka miwili iliyopita.Vitendo vya mauaji ya albino vimeenea zaidi katika maeneo ya kanda ya ziwa victoria, uovu huo umejikita katika mikoa ya Mwanza, Mara, Shinyanga na Kagera. Maeneo hayo ya historia ya kisirani cha kuwaua vikongwe katika miaka ya 1970, hasa kutokana na macho yao mekundu ambayo ilipelekea wao kufanya mauaji ya halaiki kwa mtu huyo wanayemhisi kuwa ni mchawi.

The representatives of the French people, organized as a National Assembly, believing that the ignorance, neglect, or contempt of the rights of man are the sole cause of public calamities and of the corruption of governments, have determined to set forth in a solemn declaration the natural, unalienable, and sacred rights of man, in order that this declaration, being constantly before all the members of the Social body, shall remind them continually of their rights and duties; in order that the acts of the legislative power, as well as those of the executive power, may be compared at any moment with the objects and purposes of all political institutions and may thus be more respected, and, lastly, in order that the grievances of the citizens, based hereafter upon simple and incontestable principles, shall tend to the maintenance of the constitution and redound to the happiness of all. Therefore the National Assembly recognizes and proclaims, in the presence and under the auspices of the Supreme Being, the following rights of man and of the citizen:

الإعلان العالمي لحقـوق الإنسان
اعتُمد بموجب قرار الجمعية العامة 217 ألف (د-3) المؤرخ في 10 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1948
في 10 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1948، اعتمدت الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة الإعلان العالمي
لحقوق الإنسان وأصدرته، ويرد النص الكامل للإعلان في الصفحات التالية. وبعد هذا الحدث
التاريخي، طلبت الجمعية العامة من البلدان الأعضاء كافة أن تدعو لنص الإعلان و"أن تعمل
على نشره وتوزيعه وقراءته وشرحه، ولاسيما في المدارس والمعاهد التعليمية الأخرى، دون
أي تمييز بسبب المركز السياسي للبلدان أو الأقاليم".
لما كان الاعتراف بالكرامة المتأصلة في جميع أعضاء الأسرة البشرية وبحقوقهم المتساوية
الثابتة هو أساس الحرية والعدل والسلام في العالم بأسره.
ولما كان تناسي حقوق الإنسان وازدراؤها قد أفضيا إلى أعمال همجية آذت الضمير
الإنساني، وكان غاية ما يرنو إليه عامة البشر انبثاق عالم يتمتع فيه الفرد بحرية القول
والعقيدة ويتحرر من الفزع والفاقة.
ولما كان من الضروري أن يتولى القانون حماية حقوق الإنسان لكيلا يضطر المرء
آخر الأمر إلى التمرد على الاستبداد والظلم.
ولما كانت شعوب الأمم المتحدة قد أكدت في الميثاق من جديد إيمانها بحقوق الإنسان
الأساسية وبكرامة الفرد وقدره وبما للرجال والنساء من حقوق متساوية وحزمت أمرها
على أن تدفع بالرقي الاجتماعي قدماً وأن ترفع مستوى الحياة في جو من الحرية أفسح.
ولما كانت الدول الأعضاء قد تعهدت بالتعاون مع الأمم المتحدة على ضمان اطراد مراعاة
حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية واحترامها.
ولما كان للإدراك العام لهذه الحقوق والحريات الأهمية الكبرى للوفاء التام بهذا التعهد.
فإن الجمعية العامة تنادي بهذا الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان على أنه المستوى المشترك الذي
ينبغي أن تستهدفه كافة الشعوب والأمم حتى يسعى كل فرد وهيئة في المجتمع، واضعين على
الدوام هذا الإعلان نصب أعينهم، إلى توطيد احترام هذه الحقوق والحريات عن طريق
التعليم والتربية واتخاذ إجراءات مطردة، قومية وعالمية، لضمان الاعتراف بها ومراعاتها
بصورة عالمية فعالة بين الدول الأعضاء ذاتها وشعوب البقاع الخاضعة لسلطانها.
